Next Drop-In Public Engagement Session has been rescheduled and will now take place on Wednesday 5 February 4m-7pm in Ballygowan Community Centre.

Ards and North Down Borough Council is currently developing a new Village Plan for Ballygowan. The Village Plan is a non-statutory document which outlines the long-term goals, objectives, and vision for the village. The actions identified in the Village Plan help to co-ordinate development efforts, prioritise investment and ensure there is a clear vision for the future of Ballygowan.

The development of the new Village Plan consists of three key stages:

Stage 1 - Extensive Public Engagement (May 2024 to September 2024) - completed

Stage 2 - Desktop Data Analysis | Draft Priorities Consulted (October 2024 to March 2025)

Stage 3 - Launch of Village Plan 2025-2035 (April 2025)

(Timelines are subject to change)

In order to shape the Ballygowan Village Plan we are keen to listen and understand the views of the residents and businesses.

The next Drop-In Public Engagement Session will be held on Wednesday 5 February 4-7pm in Ballygowan Community Centre. Come along and review the key themes and priorities that emerged from the previous sessions and surveys.
