Staffing

In order to ensure a dedicated focus on environmental sustainability across key issues in Council we employ: 

• A Climate Change and Sustainability Manager and a Sustainability Officer
• An Energy Efficiency Officer responsible for Council buildings
• An ecologist who works within Parks as the Parks Development Officer (Natural Environment) and Planning.  

There is also a Climate Action and Sustainability Champions Working group made of officers representing various service areas.
