Council Land and Property
Ards and North Down Borough Council manages a diverse portfolio of land, including parks, open spaces, and car parks. If you're interested in using Council land for an event, here are some important details:
Event Applications:
If you wish to hold an event on their land, you must submit an application in writing at least six weeks before the proposed event.
- For large concerts or major events, such as markets or fun fairs, you need to send a written request six months in advance.
- In some cases, a bond of £500 or another amount may be applied for large events.
- To make a request, complete the Request to Use Council Land Form and return it to landrequests@ardsandnorthdown.gov.uk
- Notice periods for requests vary based on the type of event, please contact us directly to discuss your requirements.
