Standing Orders

All councils are required by Section 37 of the Local Government Act (NI) 2014 to make Standing Orders for the regulation of the proceedings and business of the Council.

Ards and North Down Borough Council has put Standing Orders in place and reviews these from time to time to ensure they remain up to date, with the latest version of the Standing Orders Version 11 April 2024.
