Tuesday 24 December to Thursday 26 December 2024: Council Offices Closed
Friday 28, Monday 30 and Tuesday 31 December 2024: normal opening hours 9am to 5pm.
Closed on Wednesday 1 January 2025
Thursday 2 January 2025: return to normal opening hours

Recycling Services

Household Recycling Centres (HRCs) at Balloo, Ballygowan, Comber, Donaghadee, Holywood, Kircubbin, Millisle, Newtownards and Portaferry will be closed on:

Leisure Opening hours

Ards Blair Mayne Wellbeing and Leisure Complex, Comber Leisure Centre, Portaferry Sports Centre and Londonderry Park will be closed on:

Monday 23 December, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day

On Friday 27 December:

Ards Blair Mayne will open 10am to 6pm
Comber Leisure Centre will open 10am to 5pm
Portaferry Sports Centre will open 8.30am to 3pm
Londonderry Park will open 10am to 6pm

On Tuesday 31 December Ards Blair Mayne, Comber Leisure Centre and Londonderry Park will close at 6pm. Portaferry Sports Centre will be open 8.30am to 3pm.

New Years Day: all centres will be closed, reopening as normal on Thursday 2 January 2025.

Coffee Cure will be open on Monday 23 December, closing Tuesday 24 and opening Friday 27 December. Closed Wednesday 1 January.

Walled Garden, Bangor Castle

The Walled Garden is closed from Monday 23rd December 2024 to Friday 3rd January, opening again on Saturday 4th January 2025.
