Innovation Hub

The Innovation Hub in Holywood remains a key Council project eligible for significant funding from Belfast Region City Deal.

The Innovation Hub is proposed as a multi-storey development providing flexible, connected and community-oriented workspace for the growing creative sector in the Holywood area. Developed in partnership with industry experts, the hub will be designed to support businesses and professionals working across the screen industries and creative technology sectors, fostering collaboration, innovation and growth.

Council has agreed that the site for the Holywood Innovation Hub is located on the site currently occupying the Queen's Community Centre.

Updated market testing will take place in summer 2026. This will help inform the next stages of the project, including the appointment of an operator and the design and build process, which will be progressed later in 2026.
