Planning Applications Information

From Monday 3rd June 2024 Ards and North Down Borough Council's Planning Service will be issuing its decisions in digital format only; hard copy decisions will no longer be printed and posted to the planning agent or applicant. Instead, agents will be emailed the unredacted version of the decision notice. The drawings referred to in the decision notice, along with a redacted version of the decision notice, will be available to download or print from the NI Planning Portal: Northern Ireland Public Register (planningsystemni.gov.uk) For Certificates of Lawfulness, which are not viewable on the NI Portal, the unredacted decision and associated certified drawings will be emailed to the applicant/agent. 

New planning fees, with effect from June 2024, have also been introduced. The fee uplift is approximately 4%. For further information see the document NEW PLANNING FEES - JUNE 2024 within the section Planning Permission (How to Submit).
